Our Business in Nigeria
We are a leader in confectionery and beverages. Our quality products are enjoyed throughout Nigeria and even beyond our borders.

Our Heritage
Our business in Nigeria goes back to the 1950s. It began as an effort to source cocoa beans while looking for opportunities to serve the local consumer markets with the famous Cadbury products. In the early 1960s we began packing imported bulk consumer products, but the company grew quickly into a full-fledged manufacturing outfit. Cadbury Nigeria was incorporated in January 1965 and became a public company traded on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1976.

Kraft Foods acquired Cadbury Plc on February 2, 2010 making us part of the second largest food company in the world. Kraft Foods proudly markets delicious biscuits, confectionery, beverages, cheese, grocery products and convenient meals in approximately 170 countries.  Twelve of the company's iconic brands -- including Cadbury, Jacobs, Kraft, LU, Maxwell House, Milka, Nabisco, Oreo, Oscar Mayer, Philadelphia, Tang and Trident -- generate revenue of more than $1 billion annually, and 40 have been loved for more than a century.

Our Subsidiary -- Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Limited
Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Limited (SCPC) is majority-owned by our Nigerian business (98%) and a group of Nigerian entrepreneurs with wide experience in the cocoa industry. The company is a 12,500 ton capacity plant located in Ondo town, Ondo State, 275 km from Lagos, Nigeria.

A range of intermediate products such as cocoa butter, liquor and powder are produced by SCPC. The cocoa butter and liquor are exported to a wide range of international customers and the cocoa powder is consumed locally. SCPC products attract the highest premiums for their unraveled quality and Cadbury Nigeria’s entire cocoa powder requirement is sourced from SCPC.
