In Canada, our local company brands include Oreo, Chips Ahoy! and Peek Freans cookies;  Ritz and Triscuit crackers; Trident and Dentyne gum;  Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramilk chocolates; and Maynards candy.

Mondelēz Canada Inc. is a Top 10 Canadian Food company, with revenue split across two broad sectors:

  • Biscuits (which includes cookies and crackers) – 53%
  • Confectionery (which includes gum, chocolate, cough and candy) – 46%

Heritage

Mondelēz Canada Inc. was established in 2012 after Kraft Foods Company spun off their grocery portfolio. This new global snacks company includes:

  • Christie (cookies, crackers), which was part of the Nabisco business acquired by Philip Morris Companies in 2000 and merged with Kraft Foods in 2001 
  • Cadbury (chocolate, gum, candy), which was acquired by Kraft Foods Company in 2010
